đ° THE âHEY ALEXAâ BILLION SEARCH ADVANTAGE
Carlos sells spill-proof espresso cups on Amazon, but his PPC bids keep climbing and his organic rank has stalled. One night he overhears a friend ask, âHey Alexa, how do I remove coffee stains from my travel mug?â
Micro-moment detected. Millions of shoppers speak questions just like that every day.

The next morning Carlos opens AnswerThePublic and types coffee stains. The tool spits out a goldmine of real voice-search questions:
âHow to remove coffee stains from stainless steel?â
âBest mug that doesnât stain when you add turmeric?â
âCan I clean a travel cup with baking soda?â
Carlos turns each question into an opportunity:
Listing Upgrade â He rewrites bullet #2: âPrevents the #1 complaint on Alexa: stubborn coffee stainsâour ceramic-lined steel wipes clean in seconds.â
FAQ Harvest â He adds an FAQ section mirroring the exact phrasing shoppers use, boosting relevance for voice-search indexing.
Ad Copy Split-Test â A Sponsored Brands headline now reads: âAlexa, show me a mug that never stains.â CTR jumps 28%.
External Traffic Hook â He publishes a 45-second Reels tutorial titled âHey Google, fix my stained mug,â linking back to his Amazon listing.
Within three weeks Carlos sees:
19% lift in organic sessions (voice-search terms now appear in Search Query Performance).
12% drop in TACoSâheâs bidding on hyper-specific queries few sellers notice.
A #1 ranking for âremove coffee stains mugâ without raising bids.

Voice searches arenât random; theyâre intent-packed micro-moments where buyers announce exactly what they need. AnswerThePublic lets you eavesdrop on those moments, copy-paste the language, and become the instant solution.

đčïž AMAZON BLACKHAT SERVICES still ALIVE and KICKING
The OG sellers will remember: Back in the 2015-2018 days of selling FBA on Amazon, the Amazon underworld of Blackhat (i.e. hacking or bribing) services was very active.
Sellers routinely paid big money for an inside copy of a competitorâs PPC conversion reports, a dump of the backend of their listings, and for services to rank, remove reviews and pretty much anything else Seller Central was inept at helping fix.
This was all before Amazon started releasing A LOT more internal data itself, such as the Search Query Performance report for example, to sellers. That cut down on the need to get data through insiders, mostly based in China and India.
But despite a decline in seller forum chatter about it these days, the world of blackhat tactics on Amazon has NOT gone away. It is still very alive and used by some multi-million dollar sellers who donât mind living on the edge to maintain an advantage.
While I highly recommend you do not partake in blackhat activities, sometimes it is wise to know what you are up against - the ones who donât play fair.

đïž SHOULD YOU HAVE a NEWSLETTER for your BRAND?
As an e-commerce brand, you may want to consider publishing a newsletter - but not a newsletter about you or your company or a marketing email just hyping your products or latest specials. It should be about your industry or your customer avatarâs lifestyle.
Not only does it enable you to sell more of your products, you can test product ideas as an affiliate, generate new customer leads and do cross promotions, and heavily influence sales around holidays and Prime Day.
It can even generate 6 or 7 figure in revenue on its own too. And when you combine a newsletter with a podcast and your own brand app (easy to do with vibe tools now), you have a 1-2-3 punch that can propel your company into the tens or hundreds of millions of dollars in sales with a lot more control and enterprise value than just selling on Amazon, Walmart, TikTok Shop or Shopify.

đ± GOOGLE ADS GO KEYWORDLESS - AMAZON NEXT?
Google just introduced âAI Maxââa switch you can flip on inside any existing Search campaign. When enabled, Googleâs AI will:
Hit broader intents: Serve your ad beyond the keywords you supplied.
Write the copy itself: Pull headlines and descriptions from your website.
Choose the landing page: Route every click to the page it deems most relevant.

âWeâre entering an era of memory-driven search powered by large language models,â notes Optmyzr CEO Frederick Vallaeys. âSearch engines no longer rely solely on what was typedâthey interpret what was meant.â
Why this matters to Amazon sellers
Upside | Watch-outs |
---|---|
Bigger reach: AI Max can surface your listing to shoppers who never type your exact keywordsâuseful for top-of-funnel discovery. | Less control: Search-term reports shrivel. Youâll see fewer details about which queries (or audiences) are actually converting. |
Dynamic creative: Google writes and tests copy automatically, saving time. | Brand voice risk: AI-generated ads may stray from your tone or compliance guidelinesâmonitor them. |
Smart landing-page picks: Each click can go to the product page most likely to convert, boosting external-traffic ROI. | Attribution blur: With fewer visible queries, tying spend to ASIN-level sales in Amazon Attribution gets harder. |

Action steps
Start small. Test AI Max on a separate campaign or lower budget first to gauge impact on TACoS.
Audit AI copy daily. Make sure the auto-generated headlines stay on-brand and within Amazonâs compliance ground rules.
Lean on first-party data. Combine Googleâs broad reach with Amazon Attribution tags and post-purchase inserts to reclaim customer insights.
Expect a black box. Precision knobs are disappearing; success will hinge on creative inputs (strong product pages) and clear KPIs rather than tight keyword lists.
Keywords arenât deadâbut theyâre no longer the steering wheel. As Google shifts to intent-first, Amazon brands that embrace (and police) the AI will capture incremental traffic while laggards wonder where their visibility went.

đ CHATGPT TURNS INTO a ONE-STOP SHOP
OpenAI has flipped the switch on true in-chat shopping: type a natural request (âFind a hot-dog costume for a golden retriever in California, under $30, arrives by Fridayâ) and ChatGPT now answers with shoppable cardsâprices, photos, delivery dates, and direct links from Shopify, Instacart, Klarna, Amazon, and more.

Keyword era is fading. Shoppers describe needs in plain language; AI decides what to surface.
Structured data wins. Clean attributes (size, price, ship-by date, location) tell the model your listing is a fit.
Conversational copy matters. Bullet points written like answers, not search-stuffed phrases, rise to the top.
Use-case alignment rules. Listings framed around specific situations (âHalloween costume for large dogsâ) outshine generic ones.
Shelf control is gone. The âAI shelfâ reorders products in real time; optimization now means training the model, not tweaking bids alone.

Your Action Steps
Audit attributes: Ensure every variant has complete, errorless data (size, material, region, delivery speed).
Rewrite bullets in Q&A style: Mirror how real people ask (âWill this fit a 75-lb golden?â).
Tag use cases in A+ content: Explicitly state who, where, and when the product serves best.
Test conversational prompts: Ask ChatGPT for your own item; if it doesnât appear, fix the gaps.
