💰 ALIBABA’S SECRET WEAPON for AMAZON SELLERS
In last Friday’s BDSC session, Tim Jordan shared his screen and typed one line:
"Run the market fit agent on this ASIN: XXXXXXXX"
Five minutes later, the AI had:
Pulled Jungle Scout data on the listing
Read the reviews
Checked what buyers were saying on Reddit, Chewy and Walmart
Compared the buyer the listing thinks it's selling to with the buyer who's actually buying
Ranked every gap between the two by how much it's costing in sales
It did all of that from one sentence, with no long prompt.
The tool is Accio Work, and it comes from Alibaba. Most sellers still think of Alibaba as just the place to find a factory.
Why the "wrapper" matters
ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini each run on a model. Think of the model as an engine. An engine on its own goes nowhere until someone builds a car around it, and that car is the wrapper.
ChatGPT and Claude put great engines in cars built for everyone. But ask them about your listing and you get the average of the internet.
Accio is a car built for one job: ecommerce.
It connects to Amazon, Shopify, TikTok Shop and 200+ other tools
It runs GPT, Claude, Gemini or Qwen, and you choose which one
It's backed by Alibaba's commerce data, which is more than anyone else has
Nobody else is building AI like this specifically for sellers.
Real experts, turned into agents
Alibaba went through thousands of candidates. They picked specialists who are the best at one thing, pulled out their actual SOPs and built each one into an agent you can install with one click.
A few you'll recognize:
Tim Jordan: Brand Message Fit
Abe Chomali: Amazon PPC Pulse Check
Justin Chen (PickFu): Product Test Designer
Brett Bohannon: Amazon Catalog Triage
Brian Fried: Patent Watch
The agents don't pretend to be experts. Each one runs that expert's real process on your product.
The kicker: Accio pays Jungle Scout for its data. Every agent can pull keyword demand, sales estimates and reverse ASIN data, and you don't need a Jungle Scout subscription. The data comes out of your tokens.
One seller on the call used the sourcing agent to find a new raw material. It messaged suppliers inside Alibaba, collected their specs and brought everything back. They figure it saved about 50 hours of back and forth.
Try it in 2 minutes
Click here on a desktop, go to the bottom left and sign up for free. You get 500 free tokens, which is enough for 10 to 50 agent runs.
Click Agents at the top left. Open Marketplace, scroll to Expert Trained, then hit Install and Chat.
Paste an ASIN and type: "Run the market fit agent on this ASIN."
Pro tip: run it on your top competitor's listing first. Watching it find every hole in someone else's listing is the fastest "oh wow" you'll have all week. Then run it on yours.

🕹️ KEY AMAZON ANNOUNCEMENTS from ACCELERATE
Here's the rundown of the key Amazon Accelerate 2026 announcements:
1. Official Amazon plugin for Claude (and Amazon Quick)
Built by Amazon and connected to Seller Central through OAuth. Amazon says setup takes about 60 seconds and no coding. It's in beta in the US now, with other countries to follow.
It includes 11 skills and 3 one-click commands: diagnose a sales drop, check FBA stockout risk, and find and fix suppressed listings.
It can troubleshoot listings, build FBA inbound shipments, open support cases, and adjust prices or inventory. Every action needs the seller's approval, and sellers choose what data it can reach.
Gap: no advertising yet. PPC, AMC and DSP stay in the ad console.
In Amazon's words, the goal is that sellers "never have to log into Seller Central." Amazon says more plugins are coming.

2. Seller Assistant upgrades
It now remembers pricing patterns, inventory cycles and growth goals from one session to the next.
A new "canvas" feature builds visual workspaces from live data, such as pricing comparisons or ad diagnostics.
Background automations watch the business and act with the seller's approval.
Every primary account holder gets a free 12-month Amazon Quick Plus subscription, plus 2 co-workers at no cost. Available through Dec 31, 2026.
3. Multichannel hub inside Seller Central
Sellers can manage eBay, Shopify, TikTok Shop and Walmart from Seller Central, at no extra cost. It's rolling out gradually to US sellers.
Edit a listing once and it publishes to linked listings on the other channels. Shopify and Walmart orders show up next to Amazon's and can be sent to Amazon fulfillment in a few clicks.
A profitability view shows what each product earns on each channel.
The catch: Amazon becomes the center of your whole operation and can see your off-Amazon sales, though it says that data won't inform its retail business. Marketplace Pulse found that 71% of multichannel sellers still get 75% or more of their marketplace revenue from Amazon.

4. Listing protection (Account Health Assurance extended to listings)
Sellers who qualify get a grace period to fix most listing issues before the listing comes down. If they appeal within that window, the listing usually stays live until Amazon decides.
Sellers get 3 challenges every 180 days to dispute certain enforcement decisions. A win gives the challenge back.
Sellers get a warning before a risky price change goes live, instead of a takedown afterward.
Timing: US by end of 2026, worldwide in 2027, so it probably won't help much this holiday season. It's only for sellers who qualify for Account Health Assurance, and Amazon hasn't said exactly which issues are covered.
5. Ads Data Manager (preview)
A free tool that could let sellers bring their own email or loyalty customer lists into Amazon Ads and bid higher when those shoppers search the category. No rollout date yet. Sellers with a direct-to-consumer business should start organizing their lists now.
Context
Seller fees brought Amazon $46.8B last quarter, more than AWS.
The FTC antitrust case over seller fees goes to trial in March 2027.
Days before these announcements, Amazon blocked Meta's Muse shopping agent from its store, so Amazon still decides which AI platforms get in.

Improve ACOS with one simple setting change
There is a simple setting in your Amazon PPC campaigns you can change right now to improve ACoS.
There is a strategy currently being used by sellers to lower ACoS on their Amazon PPC campaigns. It’s called RBB which stands for Amazon’s “Rule Based Bidding” option - essentially letting their AI choose the bid based on your ROAS target.
Like many of Amazon’s new features, this one didn’t work well when it was first rolled out months ago.
But now it is working like a charm to lower ACoS on campaigns for a lot of brands. But you have to know how to set it up properly..
Chris Rawlings, is one of the single top grossing Amazon Ads Partners.
You can have him take over your PPC here (click here) so someone is always applying the most current, best working strategies on your account
The trick to this is that instead of setting bids, you are setting your target ROAS (just another way to say ACoS).
So you might think ok I’m just going to set my target ROAS super high so i get super profitable sales.
But that will ruin your chances of getting any traction with this campaign. And if you switch an existing campaign to RBB then set the target ROAS really high, you will tank the campaign.
The key is to set your ROAS above your current ROAS, but not too far off.
So if your ACoS is 33% (equating to an ROI of 3x), Set your target ROI to 4x (equating to a 25% ACoS) and see how it does.

🗜️99% TARIFF REFUND HIDING in YOUR SHIPPING RECRODS
You paid the duty, plus the Section 301 tariffs on the China goods. Then some of that inventory left the country.
If so, US Customs may owe you almost all of it back.
It's called duty drawback. It has been law since 1789, and industry estimates say more than 85% of eligible businesses never file.
How it works
If you paid duty to bring goods into the US and later shipped them back out unused, customs refunds 99% of the duty on those units.
It counts if you:
Moved FBA stock from the US to Amazon.ca
Launched in the UK or Europe with stock that was sitting in the US
Sold a wholesale order to a buyer outside the US
Section 301 tariffs are included. You have 5 years from the day the goods entered the US to file.
The math
Say you paid $10,000 in duty on a shipment and later sent half of it to Canada. That's $4,950 back.
At the 25% Section 301 rate, $400,000 of Chinese product carries $100,000 in tariffs. Send 15% of it abroad and you get $14,850 back.

How to file
Claims are filed electronically, so you need a customs broker who handles drawback. Ask yours. If they don't, find one who does. They match each export to the import it came from, using your import entries, your export paperwork and your inventory records.
The catches
Give notice first. For future shipments, file Form 7553 at least 5 working days before the goods leave.
Past exports need a waiver. You only get it once, but one application can cover many past exports. Put everything in it.
Unused means unused. Customer returns don't count. Repacking, sorting and marking are fine.
Canada and Mexico are stricter. Goods must leave in the same condition they arrived.
Destroyed stock rarely counts. Customs must be told first and supervise it. An Amazon disposal order gets you nothing.
The refund goes to the exporter. If your forwarder or 3PL is named on the export paperwork, they have to sign the claim over to you.
File your IEEPA refund first. The Supreme Court struck down the IEEPA tariffs in February 2026. Customs won't process an IEEPA refund on an entry tied to an open drawback claim, so claim that money first.
Get paid faster
Standard claims can take a year or more to pay out. With accelerated payment, which requires a bond, refunds can arrive in weeks. Ask your broker.
Your move
List everything that left the US in the last 5 years: Amazon.ca transfers, EU and UK launches, overseas wholesale orders. Send it to your broker with one question: "What's this worth in drawback?"
One email could be worth five or six figures.
